Graham Ross' Tips
 Apply ‘Native Magic’ well away from plant trunk but under the plant canopy and out just beyond the dripline to be the most effective.
Remember many native plants are shallow rooting so always apply 'Native Magic' in small applications rates to pre-mostened soils.
Many Australian soils are deficient in some soil minerals, and native plants have evolved to happily grow in these conditions in a garden. Therefore don't over fertilise them, however, it is true to say that recently developed native plant hybrids for horticulture will respond to more fertiliser than their wild family cousins.
Many native plants perform their best flowering in mid winter through to spring and summer, therefore apply 'Native Magic' in autumn and again in spring.
Good plant care is a sound partner with correct feeeding for native plants. Many shrubs appreciate a light pruning after each flower flush to keep compact, bushy and flowering longer.
Some native plants have a shorter life span than exotics so never feed a 'sick' native plant as it may have reached senescence and it should be replaced.
'Native Magic' is a blanaced plant food designed fotr Australian plants but it can also be safely used on exotic plants.
